By using this website, submitting a quote request, or agreeing to proceed with work, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.
Our services
We provide painting and decorating for commercial, industrial and domestic customers, mainly across Leicestershire. Unless agreed separately in writing:
- We do not carry out plastering as a standalone trade
- We do not hang wallpaper
- Light filling and preparation of sound surfaces is included only as part of agreed painting work
Scope, materials, access and any exclusions will be set out in your written quote or contract before work starts.
Quotes and estimates
Website descriptions and telephone discussions are for general information only. A binding price is given in our written quote after we have assessed the job (usually following a site visit or, for smaller domestic work, sufficient detail from you).
Quotes are valid for the period stated on them. If circumstances change (for example hidden damage, additional areas, or client-specified changes), we will discuss revised pricing before continuing.
Booking work, deposits and payment
Dates, deposits, stage payments and final balances are confirmed in your quote or job confirmation. Deposits may be required to secure materials and diary space; if so, the amount and refund position will be stated in writing.
Payment terms (due dates and methods) are as agreed on your quote. We may pause or stop work if agreed payments are not received, after reasonable notice.
Access, preparation and site conditions
You agree to:
- Provide safe access to the areas to be painted at agreed times
- Clear or protect belongings as discussed before we start, unless we have agreed to move items
- Tell us about hazards, asbestos, fragile surfaces, occupied areas, or restrictions (for example school hours, factory production, or live retail trading)
- Ensure utilities and ventilation are available where needed for the work specified
We may request RAMS (risk assessments and method statements) on commercial or industrial sites and will follow reasonable site rules and induction requirements.
Delays and cancellation
We will use reasonable efforts to meet agreed start and finish dates. Delays caused by weather, supplier issues, illness, or circumstances outside our control may require rescheduling; we will keep you informed.
If you need to cancel or postpone, please tell us as soon as possible. Cancellation charges may apply if we have incurred cost for materials, labour allocation or third-party bookings; any such charges will be explained in your quote or confirmation.
Quality, defects and complaints
We aim to complete work to a professional standard using appropriate preparation and trade paints. If you believe there is a defect in our workmanship, notify us in writing within a reasonable time (typically within 14 days of completion for visible interior work, or as stated on your quote) with enough detail for us to inspect.
We will remedy genuine defects attributable to our work at no extra charge, provided you have allowed access for inspection and any remedy. This does not cover normal wear and tear, damage after handover, or issues caused by other trades, moisture, or unsuitable surfaces not disclosed to us.
Liability
We hold appropriate insurance for our business activities. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.
Subject to that, our total liability for any claim arising from a specific job is limited to the amount paid to us for that job, except where a different limit is required by law or agreed in writing for a particular contract.
We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss (such as loss of profit or business interruption) except where required by law.
Website use
Content on this site (text, images, branding) is owned by or licensed to us. You may view pages for personal or business enquiry purposes. You must not copy, scrape or misuse the site in a way that could harm our systems or reputation.
By submitting the quote form you confirm the information is accurate and that you agree to our privacy policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your statutory rights as a consumer if you qualify for them.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies from the date shown above. Work already agreed under a written quote will normally continue on the terms that applied when that quote was accepted.
