What we did
Outdoor furniture takes a beating: flaking paint, rust in the scrollwork, and damp sitting on every slat. On this Leicestershire patio we restored a long cast-metal garden bench from tired and peeling to a clean, even white finish.
Prep came first — clearing loose coatings and treating the metal so the new paint would bond properly — then a careful coat through the ornate arms, legs and seat slats. The after shot shows the same bench, same spot, looking sharp against the brick and stone.
